Ricard's little adventure

Ricard was awed and shocked at the size of this abandoned building. He had to take a moment to absorb the face that it was HUGE! It must have been about 30 stories tall, and it had size to it.
"Cmon, Ricard. Focus on the goal here." His partner said. His partner was a slack-off who really didn't care for the job: he only cared for the money. "I could do this faster than you could." He moaned.
"Listen, how about we go in there and get this done instead of talking, okay?" He said to him as Ricard opened the doors into the building.
It was a sight to behold. The first floor had computers and papers and all the good stuff. He began his search for the stairs first, which were easy to find. His partner was rummaging through the papers.
"Hey, focus! Those are not what we are here for, remember, smarty pants?" He said to his partner, who perked up and bolted up the stairs.
For the next 15 floors, it was all the same. Busted computers, scattered paper, dis-shelved filing cabinets, and nothing that was of worth noting AT ALL!
"I'm getting bored over here. Could YOU please hurry this up?" His partner said as they approached the 16th floor.
"I'm only going as fast as You are keeping up." Ricard said back. When they got on the floor, they found something big. It was maps of other regions. This was worth noting. "Look at this! This is great! This is SOMETHING that is found here!" He screamed, jumping happily.
"Yeah, yeah. You found some maps. Big whoop. I would say that we probably already HAVE them back at base. I say we ignore them." His partner said.
"Listen! These ARE important! They are hand drawn maps. We don't have them back at base. I say we take them, and since I have more experience than you, you have to listen to me. I say we take these back." He snapped at his partner, who gritted his teeth at the truth. They found a satchel and rolled up the maps to put in there. Ricard also made the partner carry it, too.
On the 20th floor, they found some old coins, which they both decided to take back because of the worth behind them. As they were ready to leave, a trap activated. Ricard was snagged my his left hind leg, and suspended in the air. Ricard tried to break free, but no dice. His partner used Razor Leaf to cut the wire.
"That's why we have partners. Maybe if you didn't treat me like a good for nothing, than maybe I would have helped you sooner." His partner said, taking the lead from that point on.
As they reached the last floor, they both were very tired. They both decided to rest. They spent about half an hour resting before searching the last floor. It was certainly different. Instead of the same cubes, there was an oak desk that was surrounded by windows. There was also a bog leather chair behind the desk that was actually intact. Lastly, there was a big picture hanging there.
"Watch this, know-it all." His partner remarked as he Headbutted the wall below the painting. The painting fell, but Ricard saved his partner from being crushed. He would have yelled at him, but there was a safe behind where the painting used to hang. They both pushed the chair towards the safe. Ricard got on top, and used his skills and opened the safe. Inside was the treasure.
"Wow…" They both said as they found stacks of money. There was also jewelry, bill notes, and a vial.
"What do you think is in the vial, man?" His partner asked him.
"I don't know. Our note said to grab whatever was in a safe, so we HAVE to take it." He said, putting the vial and other things in the bag.
As they were about to trot down the stairs, the elevator door opened, and 3 rouges ambushed them.
"What are little children like you doing in a place for big boys? Don't you know that this is OUR territory, and that is OUR treasure? "A rogue said. The 3 rogues surrounded Ricard and his partner. 2 of them attacked his partner, who was knocked away from Ricard. A female rogue approached him.
"Hey, hon. Why don't you leave your assistant behind and go with me to have some fun back at my place. It'll be BIG fun." She said to him with a flirtatious tone. "I'll be sure to keep MY teddy bear safe." She said, dragging him towards the elevator.
"I am NOT a teddy bear!" He shouted at her, attacking her with Bite. It knocked her back, and Ricard jumped away.
"Oh, a feisty little boy, aren't you? Well, I'll just have to assert my dominance over little kids like you!" She shouted at him, attacking him with Cut. Ricard countered with Quick Attack. She went skidding across the floor. While she was stunned, Ricard used Bite on another rogue, causing him to faint. The female got back up, and just as Ricard was about to charge her, she uses Attract. He suddenly lost the urge to fight her.
"That's a good little pet. Now, follow me and we'll discuss your punishment. It won't be bad…" She taunted him. He was actually going close to her. As she was about to lick him, his partner used Swift on her, knocking her out.
"Snap out of it, man! She tricked you." He said to him, slapping him. Ricard came to his senses.
"Thanks for helping me out there." He said to his partner. Ricard grabbed the bag, which had everything in it. "Now, let's get out of here, before more come." He said to him as the got into the elevator, and went to the bottom.
